Rod Axtell, CPA and Managing Partner

Rod has spent most of his career as a partner with CPA firms. His focus has been on tax law with an emphasis on real estate and entrepreneurial clients. As Managing Partner of CSA, Rod oversees all areas of operations and analysis as well as performing critical review of cost segregation estimates and studies. Rod has been at the helm of CSA since its inception in 2005.

Rod entered the CPA profession with Touche Ross & Co., at that time, one of the “Big Eight” CPA firms. This started a Public Accounting career of 26 years in the CPA profession serving as a Partner with Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP, where he focused on tax compliance work, tax planning, succession planning and financial advice. Prior to Virchow, Krause & Company, Rod was Partner with House, Nezerka & Froelich as well as with Moser, Christianson and Axtell.

Rod has served on many boards including serving as President of the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, as Treasurer for a U.S. Senator, and as City Councilman for Bloomington, Minnesota. Rod holds a professional designation as a Certified Public Accountant.
